The Tri-City Americans Red Lion Hotels Pre-Season Tournament got underway Thursday afternoon with U.S. Division rivals the Seattle Thunderbirds doubling up the Everett Silvertips 6-3.  In the evening match-up the Spokane Chiefs downed the visiting Lethbridge Hurricanes 7-2.
