Advertising Rates and Sizes

Advertising in Hockey Now is a straight forward, affordable process. For all the details on ad rates, formats and distribution for our four publications, download our media guide posted above. Display ad rates start at under $200; full color full pages start at $2,200 CAD. We can help you create an ad, or work with your digital files.

Hockey Now formats are now all based on a four column full page: 10 1/4" w x 12 1/2" h. Two Column ads are 5" wide; three columns ads are 7 1/2" wide and single column ads are 2 1/2" wide. Irregular vertical dimensions can be accommodated.

Ad Material Specifications

We accept Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator files suitable for commercial printing (not opitmized for web!). Ad material should be in high resolution (min. 200 dpi) in either PDF, EPS, TIFF or JPEG format. Electronic files can be emailed to renato@hockeynow.ca Some email servers will block large files however, in which case we will supply you with coordinates to our FTP.

Deadlines / Space Reservation / Ad Material

Ad space bookings close two weeks prior to publication (on press) date. Completed artwork is required one week prior. For ads requiring production, the approval deadline is Wednesday prior to publication.

Tournament Calendar

Hockey Now's tournament calendar is a great way for tournament directors to promote their upcoming tournaments. Hundreds of hockey tournaments will be filled quickly as a result of these notices. For just $50 per tournament ($100 per for commercial organizations), Hockey Now will publish your listing in our calender every issue until the event is held. To submit a tournament, contact Larry Feist at larry@hockeynow.ca for more information.
